New FOV srl: To become the global benchmark for the jewelry and industrial sectors.
FOV was founded in Vicenza in 1960 during the goldsmith sector boom. Michele Rinaldi, a former technician at Tous Diamonds in Switzerland, recognized the potential of diamond-cutting machines and established FOV after gaining experience with FBMO and Ompar.
In 1979, the historic warehouse on Via del Progresso was inaugurated, expanding the workforce from 12 to 30 employees. The product range included machinery such as diamond cutters, presses, furnaces, rolling mills, and tools, offering a catalog of 20,000 items.
Growth was swift: the customer base grew from 5 to 200 daily clients, and the company exported 20 diamond cutters per month. Branches were opened in Bassano del Grappa, Milan, and Arezzo, with expansions into North Africa, Northern and Eastern Europe, and South America.
The 1990s brought challenges with a sector-wide crisis, leading to the merger with Legor Group S.P.A. in 2007. Despite the merger, the FOV brand retained its significance and prestige, a legacy that endured until 2024.
In 2024, FOV transformed into FOV S.r.l., embarking on an ambitious relaunch project under the leadership of Federica Galdeman and Paolo Bonato. FOV S.r.l. now presents a clear vision: to become the global benchmark for the jewelry and industrial sectors by offering innovative solutions and tools that honor tradition while supporting continuous growth in the precious metals and technical industry sectors.
FOV Relaunch: Merging Experience and Innovation
In 2024, FOV embarked on an ambitious relaunch project under the leadership of two seasoned professionals in the field: Federica Galdeman and Paolo Bonato.
Paolo Bonato, whose career began in 1998 in the graphite industry, has held key roles, rising from machine tool operator to managerial positions, eventually becoming Sales Director at a renowned company in the sector. His expertise in optimizing production processes and his international experience in foundry operations make him a cornerstone for innovation and product development at FOV.
Simultaneously, Federica Galdeman brings extensive experience in the jewelry sector and international relations. After working as a manager in London and spending over 15 years in the luxury industry, she honed her strategic and commercial skills through specialized studies in her field. Recently, she served as Sales Director in large-scale distribution, solidifying her management and communication expertise.
Together, these two leaders combine in-depth knowledge of materials and technologies with a global strategic vision. They are poised to steer FOV towards new achievements, strengthening customer relationships through innovative and tailored solutions.
